Finally a great looking, rare mount that can be bought with hard work other than from raiding or luck in rare drops I'd recommend anyone that feels they want it, to buy it. Yes I paid k, yes it's a ground mount, yes I could have used that gold for a flying TCG mount instead I didn't want to and this is a game and I'll play it however the F I like Seriously, some players need to QQ no matter what. Believe me, you'll get your money's worth on that macro. I've spoken to a GM who genuinely couldn't find out; nobody seems to know for sure. When Darion first appears at the Argent Vanguard in Icecrown, in the guise of the Ebon Watcher, he's accompanied by a horse called Iydallus. Finally, in ICC, he's found standing apart from everyone else, alongside Fury.

Fury and Iydallus are both red Deathchargers, identical in appearance. One of two things happened: 1. The devs screwed up, forgot whose horse belongs to which character, and accidentally dumped Salanar's horse next to Darion in ICC.

Thus when he gives you the reins of his own faithful steed, you're getting Iydallus, and Fury isn't really there. Darion took Fury as his own mount hell, Salanar won't be needing it anymore Comment by Warnelf Should be noted that it usually sells for around k, so I would strongly recommend selling it. Comment by thecodstter I have heard a rumor and would like to share with everyone that this item aparently has been duplicated by hackers and gold farmers and sold for cheap and then blizzard once they track down the duped items and delete them, so if you are saving for this item don't waste your gold and buy it now wait it out then buy it later when it is safe and worth your time and gold.

Currently, we are not taking action against players who have purchased such mounts because they are technically innocent of the situation unless of course, there is clear evidence to show they were part of the duping ring or something like that. Please be forwarned though, I cannot guarantee this will always be the case. If the developers decide duping is becoming too much of a problem for the economy, they may instigate measures to remove all duped mounts they can find, which may include ones bought by normal players.

I can't really speculate though, as anything could happen. To put your own mind at ease though, I severely doubt we will do anything to you other than the slight chance that maaaaaybe one day the mount may be reclaimed but to be honest, that probably won't happen either.
