It occurs to me that Dumbledore, who had prodigious magical skill, whatever his other faults, might have enchanted this Snitch so that it will open only for you. Sure, he dropped the Stone off before facing Voldemort, but he was still the owner, right? So, technically, Harry owned all three objects and therefore according to the myth would have been the master of death.
Is that why he survives Voldemort's Killing Curse again? Who knows? But the Stone definitely symbolizes Harry's willingness to lose it all and embrace death, which ends up saving everyone from Voldemort—even Harry himself. What's Up With the Ending? Thinking is for comments, knowing is for answers.

Harry was walking to meet Voldemort and give up his life, he pulled the Resurrection Stone from the Snitch, turned it over in his hands three times, and met shadows of his parents, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin.
Albus Dumbledore gave the Resurrection Stone to Harry Potter, because of all the people in the world who could use it for good, it was Harry. Dumbledore had set the cursed ring on his finger, likely driven by nostalgia, to see his sister, mother and father once again, but he was cursed in the process. During the first book, Harry Potter catches a Golden Snitch by swallowing it during his first Quidditch match. Later, Potter discovers Dumbledore hid the resurrection stone within that snitch.
Dumbledore got the stone from the Peverrelle ring.
