But what is something I can do that gets them discussing it? Something kind of like a project, but not that long to do.
Something they could work on within groups and then be encouraged to discuss. Is this too young of an activity for 5th graders? The reason is that too much honesty does not work. I like teaching everything I teach because what I like is teaching. Social studies is so much more than cute projects. It is life itself. We all teach to make kind people. This is where that happens!
